Thrust Blocks & Bearings

  • Our bearings are manufactured to our customers’ specific requirements, and can be configured in many ways. We can produce these bearings for shafts ranging from 8 inches to over 40 inches.

  • We can produce these bearings in weights up to and over 7,000 pounds for combat use. Structures can be verified to meet the most stringent shock requirements and are designed to continue operating in flooded machinery compartments.

  • We cast our thrust pads and radial bearings in house using our NAVSEA and ABS approved procedures. Utilizing our in-house NDT processes, we can ensure the successful operation of our equipment, even in the harshest of operating conditions.

  • Our self-aligning and load leveling design allows for shaft deflection while minimizing bearing wear and tear.

  • Our thrust bearings operate without the need for lube oil pumping system or jacking pumps. They are able to self-lubricate during all operating conditions of surface combatant vessels, including jacking speeds.
